Star India has acquired the TV and digital broadcast rights of Indian Premier League for the next five years. According to reports, Star India made a consolidated bid of Rs 16,347.50 crore at the IPL media rights auction on Monday. Star have acquired the TV broadcast rights for India as well as Digital (Internet and mobile) rights for India and the rest of the world.
